Andy Warhol began his career as a commercial illustrator, but the colorful pictures in comics inspired him to paint. He wanted to paint real things and things people typically don’t see on canvas. He did just that by painting the famous Campbell’s soup can and it was called “pop art.”
The book has pictures of Andy Warhol’s illustrations and artwork and photographs many of them from the Warhola family collection.
