Buddy Holly’s family loved to play the violin, accordion and the piano and sing.  Buddy tried to play various instruments, but he wanted to play baseball. When his parents got him a guitar in the sixth grade, he couldn’t put it down.  Buddy Holly and his band went on to have ten top singles in rock and roll.

Illustrations are done in watercolors, ink and colored pencils.
