This adaptation of the "Nun's Priest's Tale" from The Canterbury Tales originally written by Geoffrey Chaucer is retold with beautiful illustrations that depicts medieval life and a rooster named Chanticleer who dos not heed his nightmares warning.  As the fox tricks Chanticleer with flattery the rooster finally outsmarts the fox to escape to his owner and safety.
