What if you were twelve and survived an accident that you shouldn't have?  Chosen is about a boy names Jodie Christianson who survives a what should have been a fatal accident and finds in the aftermath that he is all knowing and perform miracles.  He inspires the town and makes a true believer of the local priest who recently lost his faith. 

Literary Devices: Metaphor, simile, sophisticated language and onomatopoeia

Theme: Chosen has many themes such as faith in a higher being or trust in others.  However, also inherent in the story are the themes of pain and suffering, forgiveness.
