Curricular Connection – The young child approach to this book may be a turn-off for a slightly older student, however, this book needs to be shared with another person. If a librarian or teacher or parent went through this book with the student, the discussion generated by the pictures and the text could be valuable, both as learning and sharing experience. In a classroom setting, a teacher may use the information to accelerate the students understanding of depositories of cultural information.
