Media: Acrylics, Handmade Stamps, and Computer created cut-outs

Literary Device: Symbol- When Cesar’s family is forced to move elsewhere and look for work because the drought has destroyed the crops in their farm. There is a small illustration in the background displaying a horse being restrained by an owner by rope, and its pulling back the rope trying to escape. This illustration symbolizes who Cesar and his family are forced to leave their land against their will and take up servitude as migrant workers. But it can also symbolize how Cesar did not remain being abused by the farm owner, but instead fought back.
