Media – ink and water color
Rating – 5Text and 4 Illustration – 3 Popularity
Curricular Connection – This book is an excellent source for novice fossil collectors that want to know very basic terminology used in the archeological sphere. In an upper elementary setting, students could easily read through this book and say, “Huh?” The prose needs to be taken apart so students will understand the passion the narrator has for finding fossils. One could have a full vocabulary list with the terms in this book.
