Illustrated in mixed-media collages of landscape and figures, an American foot soldier on patrol during the Vietnam War comes face to face with the enemy, realizing that the two of them are much more alike than they are different.  The fear, the uncertainty, the longing for an end to the war, all expressed in poetic text, are startlingly real.
