Black and white comics depict a former Sesame Street cast member who goes onto a successful rap career and life of crime, and becomes paralyzed in the process.

Q/P:  5/4 this popular piece was brought to my attention by one of the librarians I work with, and it was so popular, two years after publishing, that I had to request it to get a copy.  WImberly does a good job of evoking the mood of NYC’s various neighborhoods.
