A beautiful book which displays the seasons in all their stages and provides thoughtful questions for every illustration.  At the end of the book is a section for instructors which provides answers to the questions.

Combination art and poetry book, Sky Tree pictures the same tree through various times of the season with different sunsets and cloud formations.  The author asks questions about each picture which makes the reader think about the feelings, the artwork and their thoughts about the meaning of the picture. 

 

The illustrations are painted with oil on canvas.
