After Ely’s dog, Tommy, is hit by a car, Ely goes to help out on his grandfather’s farm for the summer. One night, he finds a living Tyrannosaurus Rex and makes him his pet. Although “Tommysaurus” performs many tricks like Ely’s dog used to do, the town is upset about all the damage that the dinosaur is doing to neighboring houses – not to mention the mayor’s complaint about dino-poop “the size of buses” in the park.
